Dutch Style Cheese Press

Designed and made by The Urban Cheese Company, this is a Dutch style cantilevered cheese press which can be used to press a wide range of cheese sizes. Its cantilever action allows you to use smaller weights to achieve a firmer press.

Comes with a draining tray.

The press can be couriered to you as a kit set or picked up assembled from our shop. Note, the press will be shipped via courier so just select standard shipping or Rural delivery (as required). Also, the cost of shipping is for the press only (or with packets of cultures). If moulds or draining trays/kits are included postage will be additional. Please contact us before ordering in that case so we can provide you a revised shipping cost.

Description

Designed and made by The Urban Cheese Company, this is a Dutch style cantilevered cheese press. Its standout quality is its ability to press a wide range of cheese sizes. The large draining tray allows you to press a cheese mould up to 21 cm in diameter with maximum height of 25 cm. It will accommodate every size of mould we stock (new stock of larger moulds pending for mid-September 2018). Its cantilever action allows you to use smaller weights to achieve a firmer press.

Made from untreated pine (you add finish if you wish), uses stainless steel screws and nickel plated smooth running pulleys and reduced stretch cord line. Comes with draining tray.

This will be couriered to you as a kit set that is very easy to assemble with the two screws supplied. Pick ups from our shop can be assembled for no extra charge.
