Cheeses Class

The making of a Gouda, which is a washed curd cheese, will be demonstrated from heating the milk through to the start of the pressing.  Different ways to salt a cheese & store it will also be covered.  You will learn generic cheesemaking techniques that are transferable to allow you to successfully make other cheese in your home kitchen.  There will be a discussion on how the techniques can be adjusted to create other styles of pressed cheese.

The class will start at 12.30 pm and will finish around 4.30 to 5pm.

There is a maximum of 7 people per class.  If numbers are insufficient for any class we will contact you to discuss options.
